Shibnath is working as a research engineer in the sponsored search group. He has been actively involved in feature engineering and and modeling for advanced search in emerging markets. Shibnath holds a BE degree in electronics and telecommunication and an MBA in systems, operations research and marketing. He is also a PhD in information systems from the university of maryland with a specialization in privacy preserving data mining. Prior to Yahoo! Labs Bangalore, he has worked in the capacity of tech lead and project/delivery managers for SAP business intelligence at IBM and Deloitte India.
