Sanjay is currently managing the applied sciences group working on core technologies behind the new generation of contextual advertising platform, called "Keystone". He works closely with Product Management, Business Development and Engineering organizations to define the contextual advertising strategy and then to execute on it from sciences perspective. Prior to Keystone, Sanjay managed various projects within Yahoo including, advanced matching technologies for Yahoo's Sponsored Search and development of back-end system for Yahoo! Answers, a very popular Yahoo! property. Prior to joining Yahoo! in 2005, Sanjay has worked on Enterprise Search Technology at Verity, Parallel Database Server platform at Informix and Shared-nothing parallel computing at Center For Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), India. Sanjay holds Masters in Electronics Engineering from Philips International Institute, Holland and Masters of Technology (M.Tech.) from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
