Currently I'm managing the Guaranteed Display (GD) algorithm development and offline simulation experimentation framework with other Labs research scientists and production engineering teams. Prior to GD project, I was a data system architect and operation manager in Yahoo data system and search & marketplace. I built and managed a variety of Yahoo web analytics and decision-supporting systems, including data.yahoo.com, yahoo premium service data mart, A/B testing system for search and marketplace business unit, general reporting systems for link-level tracking, and SEO/SEM data reporting. During nearly 9 years' service in Yahoo!, I have amassed a wealth of management experience and technical skills. I'm a certified SCRUM master in the agile software development and has managed teams across functional groups over years. My hands-on skills are Perl, C/C++, PL/SQL, data dimensional modeling, basic GUI design, ASP/ASP.NET, PHP, Oracle and MySQL databases, etc. I enjoy solving all kinds of technical issues with team members together. Prior to Yahoo!, I graduated from University of Southern California (USC) with dual-degrees-Ph.D. in Aerospace engineering and MS in computer engineering. I also hold both BS and MS in mechanical engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). In my free time, I enjoy practicing Kung Fu, hiking, golfing, reading, etc.
