Dan joined DMR in July of 2008. Before coming to Yahoo!, he was a lead scientist at Fair Isaac, where he developed fraud detection models for credit/debit card (Falcon and Fraud Predictor) and online banking (Falcon OLA). Dan obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2003, and his bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua Univeristy (Beijing, China) in 1995. Dan enjoys travel, skiing, surfing, playing tennis and spending time with his daughter and family.
