Anish works on various research issues related to Sponsored Search. These include internationalization of ranking models, click feedback modeling for click prediction, ad placement algorithms, generalized utility functions for sponsored search, real-time stream processing algorithms, etc.
Anish's primary interests are in empirical methods in language processing, information retrieval, and speech recognition.
Prior to Yahoo!, Anish worked on building models to assess the quality of human speech at Ordinate Corporation. Before that, he went to graduate school at USC, where he worked on various problems in computational linguistics.
