Pradheep Elango is a Technical Lead in the Audience Sciences group at Yahoo! Labs. He is broadly interested in data mining, machine learning and statistical modeling. He works primarily on personalized content recommendation models and explore-exploit techniques in the context of various applications such as Yahoo! Front Page, Yahoo! News, My Yahoo! and Yahoo! Buzz. He also works on developing models and metrics to understand user engagement and value, and on models to detect abusive/malicious traffic on the Yahoo! network. Before Yahoo!, Pradheep went to graduate school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
