Karolina is currently a research engineer with the Web Search Sciences group, working on query classification to improve search result relevance. She joined Yahoo! in June 2006 after 3 years at the IBM Toronto Software Lab. Karolina received her M.Sc. in Computer Science, specializing in Machine Learning, from the University of Toronto in 2003.
